After months of keeping the people in the dark, Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak finally announced the dissolution of Parliament on April 3, 2013.This has been followed by the dissolution of the State Assemblies including the States administered by Pakatan Rakyat in Selangor, Pulau Pinang, Kedah and Kelantan.As of today, the administration of the State must be run by a caretaker government. This concept will be a crucial test whether Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan Nasional truly observes the practices and process of democracy.
Hitherto, KEADILAN has been the victim of Barisan Nasional’s unfair and devious ploys in exploiting and abusing the machinery and resources of the government, including the use of the State owned media, to facilitate their campaign programs and activities even after dissolution. This practice is a clear violation of caretaker government principles and must be stopped immediately. We urge them to stop such abuses.KEADILAN will not violate this principle and will not allow this transgression to be repeated this time around. We will observe the democratic process fully beginning with this caretaker government as a mark of respect of the people’s rights and to honour their trust as well as to be fair to all contending parties.
In this regard, I applaud the initiative and commitment of the Selangor Caretaker Government under Pakatan Rakyat which has issued strict directives pertaining to the administration of caretaker government in the following matters:
• No new key policy decisions are to be made by the State administration
• State government Executive Councilors must return all State- owned facilities such as cars and other vehicles to the State except when they are required for official duties of the State
• No major contracts are to be entered into by the State except in matters where they are obligated by law to fulfill
• No major development projects are to be awarded or approved
• No new appointments to key positions or office are to be made
As a first step towards complying with the tenets of a caretaker government, I have instructed that the official car belonging to PKNS which has been provided to me be returned to PKNS effective today. To further test this democratic concept which has been consistently violated by Barisan Nasional, KEADILAN calls on Dato’ Seri Najib and all the leaders of the Barisan Nasional to take the first step to return all official cars and vehicles to the States and the Federation except for strictly official duties which are not related to campaign activities.

Rasululullah sebelum membuat apa apa perjanjian melibatkan pengurusan kerajaan baginda pastikan seluruh umat islam bersatu padu terlebih dahulu.
